Remember when everyone moaned about the pavements being dug up to lay cables? Well if yours were, subscribing now could bring you digital TV.

Virgin Media are the main cable TV provider - having taken over NTL and Telewest. There is also Tiscali, which provides digital TV over existing telephone lines. This is currently (Summer 2008) operating over about half the UK. Tiscali and the cable companies are listed in digital TV providers. In December 2006 BT launched a new digital TV service - BT Vision. This includes digital TV channels through your aerial, with subscription 'view on demand' channels via a broadband connection on your BT telephone line.
