Verdict
The recording side of this box was versatile and intuitive and it had a viewing card slot for pay TV, but otherwise it was not very easy to use. Although the universal remote control could operate up to five devices and was quite well laid out, it was heavy to hold and some button presses were annoyingly slow to operate the recorder. The TV guide was also slow to navigate and busy to view - too many colours and some glare. Standby power consumption was high.
