This is a 3D Freeview HD Plasma TV. The TV does not come with any 3D glasses. It has assisted tuning, giving regional TV options when multiple signals are picked up. If connected to a home broadband network it can access selected Internet services including BBC iPlayer. To save energy the TV has a room ambient light sensor to control brightness and automatically blanks the screen when tuned to radio. This TV was considered easy to install and use.

This is a 42 inch TV with a built in Freeview HD tuner and if connected to a home broadband network it can access selected Internet services including BBC iPlayer. The TV can display 3D images from suitable Blu-ray discs or TV channels, but you will need special glasses for this, these are not supplied. The TV has a room ambient light sensor to control brightness and save energy. The TV guide and on screen menus are well laid out and easy to navigate. The remote control is also easy to use with clear labels and well laid out buttons, although there is no direct access button for Audio Description. Generally easy to set up and use. RECOMMENDED

This TV can show Freeview HD programmes - it has it's own in built HD tuner. It is very easy to use and intuitive with good picture and sound quality. The on screen guide is clear and the remote control well designed. The TV delivers audio description and this can be routed via a separate headphone socket - but it doesn't have a dedicated button for AD on the remote. The TV has an ambient room light sensor to save energy.
