Show Verdict
Generally satisfactory to use with an easy to read TV guide, well laid out and good size buttons on the remote control and straightforward favourites selection, but the remote was bottom heavy, setting favourites unintuitive and daunting instructions. Picture quality OK but sound quality poor. It can handle audio description.

Show Verdict
This TV has two SCART and one HDMI socket. Picture quality was satisfactory, sound was poor and it has no convenient analogue audio output for connection to a HiFi system. It has Audio Description, an off switch that saves on standby power consumption and front controls that are responsive and well labelled. However, some buttons are small and flush to the TV. The channel list was intuitive with a well laid out 'Now and Next' feature, but the text was small. It was easy to install.

TV with two SCART and two HDMI sockets, it has a simple, well laid out remote control, but some rather small buttons. The front panel controls were a good size and well labelled. The on screen menu text, TV guide text and Now and Next text were all small and hindered the usability. The on screen menus were also deep and unintuitive which can make finding things difficult. The TV is unable to automatically switch from widescreen to the correct standard format when viewing older programmes, this must be performed manually. Although it has a 'favourite channels' option it does not display these in their own TV Guide. Picture and sound quality were satisfactory and it supports Audio Description.

Easy to set up and retune TV with a single SCART and HDMI input, but has no convenient analogue audio output for connection to a HiFi system. The remote control was thin with small and poorly positioned buttons. It had full front controls, however these were unresponsive and menu navigation was slow.

This TV benefits from easy installation and set-up, but finding the retune menu was hard. The manual is well written but uses daunting flow diagrams. It has two SCART and one HDMI socket. The remote control was well laid out with well grouped buttons. It also has well spaced, responsive controls on top of the TV. The TV guide is well laid out, versatile and benefits from clear highlighting. It also has an ambient room light sensor so automatically adjusts the picture brightness according to the lighting level. Audio Description is provided and was generally easy to use.

Picture and sound quality both satisfactory but not very easy to use. Most main controls well grouped on the remote but some wobbly buttons and slow to change channels. TV guide displayed only one channel at a time. Selecting favourites straightforward but long winded to set them. It can handle audio description.

Generally intuitive to use but let down by wobbly buttons lacking tactile feedback on the remote control, favourites that were long-winded to set and busy Now and Next information for the current channel only. Well laid out TV guide but with small text and very slow to fill up with all the programmes. This model incorporates audio description.

TV with one SCART and one HDMI socket. The TV does not automatically switch from widescreen to the correct standard format when viewing older programmes, this must be done manually. The TV Guide only shows one channel at a time, it has no favourite channel groups, channels were slow to load and sub menus were frequently small and unintuitive. The remote control was cluttered and had wobbly, squashed buttons. Sound quality was poor, but the picture quality good. It was not considered easy to use and the manual is poorly presented with small screen shots and text. It supports Audio Description

Generally an easy to set up and use TV with satisfactory picture and sound quality. The on screen guide is easy to navigate, but transparency can be off-putting. A good remote control with good sized buttons and labelling. The TV delivers audio description. No printed instruction manual is supplied - only CD-ROM.

Good picture quality and an intuitive TV to use with a well delineated remote control, well laid out and contrasted TV guide and clear and versatile Now and Next information. The Guide Plus advertising squashes that TV guide slightly. This model incorporates audio description and an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust picture brightness to room lighting so helping to reduce energy consumption.
