Good quality picture and satisfactory sound and a well presented and clear to read TV guide. The remote control was quite long, wide and weighty, but came with a small control for basic operation. The channel list was buried in a menu. This model incorporates audio description and an ethernet connection for home networking of multimedia and MP3 music playback, automatically selected by 'mood'.

Picture and sound quality both satisfactory and a simple on-screen menu with good prompts. Remote control well laid out and labelled, but a busy Now and Next banner and cluttered and squashed TV guide with small text. This model incorporates audio description.

Good picture quality, poor sound and not very easy to use. A long, wide remote control with well laid out and labelled buttons at the top but a busy array at the bottom. The audio description button was easy to find. The channel list was well presented but Now and Next was intrusive on the picture and the TV guide daunting, though well contrasted. This TV features an ambient room light sensor and a front panel off switch that both save energy.

Show Verdict
Good picture quality, satisfactory sound and intuitive to use, this TV has Freeview and a Freesat HD tuner. Well laid out and contrasted TV guide, clear and versatile Now and Next and a well delineated remote control, but the navigation keys were high up and volume and channel change low. Audio description was accessed via the options menu and this TV features an ambient room light sensor that saves energy.

Generally intuitive to use, good picture quality but poor sound. A long though well delineated remote control, usefully backlit but no audio description button - a longwinded process to set that via on-screen menus. Button selection of favourites but again, longwinded to set them. A versatile TV guide, well presented, Now and Next was for the current channel only and the channel list was transparent and filled the whole screen.

This TV can show Freeview HD programmes - it has it's own in built HD tuner. It is very easy to use and intuitive with good picture and sound quality. The on screen guide is clear and the remote control well designed. The TV delivers audio description and this can be routed via a separate headphone socket - but it doesn't have a dedicated button for AD on the remote. The TV has an ambient room light sensor to save energy.
