- Humax HD - Fox T2 (68%) £79. Delivers High Definition Freeview TV channels.

- Sky Amstrad DRX550 (77%). £ Part of Sky deal. Sky supply boxes by different manufacturers - you may not be able to specify what box you want.
- Humax FOXSAT – HD/GB (66%) £130. Delivers standard and high definition freesat services (non subscription).
- TechniSat HDFS 0008/4570 (65%) £119. Delivers standard and high definition freesat services (non subscription).
By cable or phone line
If you plan to subscribe to cable or the telephone-based system, the Virgin Media (63%) box was easier to use than TalkTalk -previously Tiscali (48%).
